Job Duties:

The Pool Technician will perform job duties related to pool winterization/closing and winter care program services. Pool winterization/closing job duties include lowering pool water level about 16-24 inches below the waterline tile, winterizing/air blowing underground pool suction and return lines and any features systems (e.g. waterfalls, sheer descent, grotto's etc.), installing skimmer plugs/gizmos to winterize skimmers, installing winter safety pool covers, inspecting and securing pool covers anchors, installing winter chemicals such as algaecide, plaster protectants, chlorine and antifreeze, winterizing filtration systems and pumps, air-blowing pool decks. Organizing pool equipment rooms, checking equipment rooms to prevent and avoid freeze breaks & pipe bursts. On-the-job paid training is provided.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions. The work schedule varies and shifts are flexible, must be able to work 40 65 hours per week as weather permits, overtime available, but not guaranteed. Must possess a valid drivers license or foreign equivalent or have the ability to possess a valid drivers license in United States.
