- Job Duties:
- ◦Perform household chores (i.e tidy up play areas and children's rooms, do children's dishes and children's laundry) and ensure a clean and tidy home environment at all times. ◦ Cook and prepare the children's meals and feed them. ◦ Help the children wash up and take showers or baths ◦ Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety ◦ Remove hazards and develop appropriate boundaries and rules to create a safe environment for children. ◦ Instruct and assist children in the development of health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet behavior. ◦ Instruct children in safe behavior, such as seeking adult assistance when crossing the street and avoiding contact or play with unsafe objects. ◦ Perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required. ◦ Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs (kids are heavy) ◦ Run errands for children as required. ◦ Perform other duties for children as required. ◦ Proficient knowledge of home safety and first aid (must pass BLS course within 6 months of employment; BLS fees will be paid for by employer).
