- Job Duties:
- The Plumber will perform specialized plumbing work related to the renovation and rehabilitation of a historic commercial building. Duties and Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures (toilets, sinks, bathtubs); Ensure all plumbing systems comply with local and state building codes; Perform pipe inspections using pressure gauges and other specialized tools; Collaborate with general contractors and electricians to plan plumbing routes and system configurations; Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine optimal layout; Test systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges; Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools.
