- Job Duties:
- Entry-level position Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Assist experienced welders by working closely with them to learn welding techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Prepare and organize materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and positioning metal components. Under supervision, operate welding machines and tools to joint metal parts according to specifications. Inspect welded joints for quality and ensure they meet established standards. Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper storage of welding equipment and materials. Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Actively engage in training and seek opportunities to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

A commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines. Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential. Some welding, cutting, or grinding experience.
