- Job Duties:
- Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul small engines used to power lawn mowers, plows, throwers, chain saws, and other related landscaping equipment. All other job duties related to the Outdoor Power Equipment and Other Small Engine Mechanics position pursuant to 49-3053. May perform other job duties pursuant to 49-3053, Outdoor Power Equipment and Other Small Engine Mechanics. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35 hours/week. 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. F.b.9: Effective January 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.

- 3 months of experience working with landscaping tools or equipment required. On-the-job training will be provided. A criminal background check and drug screen is required. The drug screening must be completed before beginning employment. Employees who have worked for Mariani Enterprises in the past 3 years are exempt from criminal background check and drug screening requirements.
