- Job Duties:
- Seventeen temporary full-time Ground Person positions available for work beginning October 1, 2025 and continuing through April 30, 2026 with day shift of forty hours work provided weekly, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, at $24.95 per hour, with overtime offered often at $37.43. No previous training, or experience, or education are required, nor on-the-job training, as clear and simple instructions are given onsite by supervising crew leaders. Ground Persons help collect debris and branches from storm damage. Ground Persons perform ground-level pruning and trimming, also collecting and hauling out debris, as well as applying protective mulch, and using the chipper; also loading and unloading crew vehicles. Ground Persons also weed, rake, dig, plant, and water. The position is entry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
