Job Duties:

Five temporary full-time Arborist positions are available for work beginning October 1, 2025 and continuing through April 30, 2026, with day shift of forty hours work provided weekly: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, at $31.23 per hour, with overtime offered regularly, at $46.85. Bartlett Arborists perform basic tree climbing and rigging, pruning and trimming, and lowering of limbs and branches. Arborists use climbing hooks and belts to gain access to work areas. Arborists use power saws and pruners to cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to improve tree appearance, health, and value. Arborists help inspect trees for potential risks. Arborists serve as a member of our tree-care crew. Arborists attend a daily Safety Briefing. This occupation requires a high-school diploma and six months related work experience, in Ground Person work and/or exposure to knowing tree species. Four weeks of paid on-the-job training gets any hires up to speed so they can identify tree species and climbing risks, and also safely utilize pruners and saws and other hand and power tools for removing branches and debris.
