- Job Duties:
- ***RFI Response*** Workers will use a hand rake, tub for hauling debris short distances, and machete. They will use the hand rakes to gather pine straw into straight windrows and remove any remaining debris. Some rakers may be selected to operate 30-40HP tractors after completing required training courses. These tractors will be used to transport bales of hay from the field to semi-trailers using a custom dolly. Workers will manually load and unload pine straw by hand onto the semi-trailer. Workers will work in longleaf pine plantations across various counties. ***Original F.a.2*** Workers will be responsible for cleaning sticks and other debris from pine straw, wind rowing, baling, and loading bales into semi trailers.
