- Job Duties:
- - Perform housekeeping, basic maintenance, and inspections of pallet jacks; Housekeeping includes sweeping, cleaning up after production, keeping workspaces clean and clear;
-Inspections of pallet jacks include regular Inspections, which consist of a:
• Visual Inspection: Check for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. This includes examining the frame, forks, wheels, and other components.
• Hydraulic System Inspection: For manual pallet jacks, check the hydraulic fluid level, look for leaks, and ensure the pump is functioning correctly.
• Electrical System Inspection: For electric pallet jacks, inspect the battery, charger, wiring, and controls.
• Wheel and Roller Inspection: Check for wear, damage, and smooth operation of the wheels and rollers.
• Brake System Inspection: Ensure the brakes are functioning properly and not seized.
