Job Duties:

Shovel snow. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. Grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup, and other duties as assigned related to facilities maintenance, such as clearing facilities of leaves, snow, or debris using hand tools or power equipment including but not limited to rakes, shovels, and snow/leaf blowers. Irrigation system winterization and activation. Potential for fall and spring clean-up, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and pruning from the ground. Collecting pine needles by hand for garland. Mowing, as needed. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. May drive crew vehicle to job sites, as needed. Will not drive plow truck.

Special Requirements:

Must possess or be able to obtain valid non-commercial US driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. Must possess or be able to obtain valid non-commercial US driver's license.
