Job Duties:

Employer is seeking a Preschool/Early Education Teacher for her children. This role will be responsible for providing pre-kindergarten level instruction for young children preparing to start elementary school. The duties for this role are as follows: • Implement parent provided early childhood development curriculum that focuses on the different areas of child development. • Stimulate the intellectual, physical and emotional growth and development by teaching basic language skills, providing interactive learning activities and ensuring over-all wellbeing. • Develop interactive and sensory activities tailored to the child's attention span, ensuring developmental growth. Use behavior management techniques, such as reward systems, to encourage task completion and good behavior. • Employ structured routines and calming strategies to manage ADHD symptoms and promote the child's emotional stability. • Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, and personal hygiene, considering the child's unique physical and developmental needs. • Manage allergy management protocols to ensure exposure to known allergy triggers are avoided and to provide appropriate medications and/or care if allergy is triggered. • Plan and integrate age-appropriate lessons into daily routine. Specifically: o Introduce child/children to traditions, art, and music to enhance cultural understanding and appreciation o Use dual language materials including books flash cards, and visual aids to develop proficiency in English o Source and execute activities, field trips, etc., that support developmental. Language, and cultural enrichment activities o Update parents regarding children’s progress against developmental goals o Transport child to and from various activities o Organize games, art, music, and field trips to foster overall development This position requires fluency in English, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Finally, must have knowledge of allergy management and protocols. Petitioner is offering the wage of $19.20 per hour for this position; room and board is also included. Due to the temporary nature of the employment, no benefits are offered.

First Aid and CPR certified (or ability to become so) also required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. Knowledge and/or experience with management of allergy protocols. Ability to work Saturdays as needed also required.
