The employee will work in the hospitality industry, specifically within hotels, resorts, or similar lodging and event venues. Job duties will include:
• Room and Facility Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas. Duties include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, replacing linens and toiletries, and ensuring all spaces meet hygiene standards.
• Dining and Server Support: Greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, assist with customer inquiries, clean tables, reset dining areas, and maintain a sanitary dining environment. Post-service responsibilities include cleaning kitchen areas and dishwashing.
Further Description of "Handling Laundry Services":
• Collect, sort, and process linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Operate industrial washers, dryers, steamers, and pressing machines.
• Apply appropriate detergents and stain removers, monitor machine cycles, and ensure proper drying and pressing.
• Fold, organize, and redistribute clean items to appropriate departments or guest rooms.
• Maintain laundry inventory and report supply or equipment issues as needed.
Processes, Equipment, and Systems Used:
• Use of commercial-grade vacuums, mops, floor buffers, carts, and cleaning chemicals compliant with health and safety standards.
• Operation of high-capacity laundry systems and tools.
• Use of internal communication tools (e.g., radios, tablets) to coordinate tasks and report room or service status.
• Compliance with hospitality industry standards, OSHA guidelines, and facility-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
