- Job Duties:
- -Assist in shaping, measuring, and assembling material; -Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesman and, provide assistance in other activities; -Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges; -Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas; -Clean up of job sites; -Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets; -Mix, pour and spread materials such as cement, and spread mortar; -Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site; -Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces; -Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed by tradesman; -Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered; -Assist tradesmen in laying cover interior and exterior walls, floors and ceilings with ceramic, marble and quarry tile, mosaics or terrazzo; -Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools; -Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles; -Grout Tile joints upon completion of Tile installation after 24 hours; -Most be able to lift 50lbs on a day to day basis; -Must be able to use a wet saw to cut Tiles; -Must be able to use a snap cutter (preferable Sigma) to dry cut Tiles; -Must have prior driving experience, in the event the individuals needs to drive; -Must be able to set up work site and also prepare for the daily task
