- Job Duties:
- The truck driver is responsible for the following job duties: Operating a truck safely and efficiently, following all applicable traffic laws and regulations to drive over various long distances. Following routes, developing the most efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines, considering factors like traffic, road conditions, and weight restrictions. Securing cargo for transport, and potentially assisting with loading and unloading. Ensuring goods are delivered on time and in good condition. Communicating with dispatchers, customers, and other parties to provide updates and address any issues. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards. Performing routine maintenance tasks like refuelling, checking fluids, and cleaning the vehicle. Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations to the appropriate personnel. Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel expenses, tolls, and other trip-related information. Keeping a log of working hours, rest periods, and other activities, in compliance with federal and state regulations.

- A valid Class A CDL Driver's License The ability to secure a TWIC Card Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen 21 years or older Must bend, lift, and sustain up to 50 lbs No on-the-job training available, no education required. Pass a background check Post-hire drug test required paid by employer, all US and Guest workers will be screened equally.
