Job Duties:

Provide assistance with basic case/support to elderly residents under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Duties include: Monitoring of health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, bedding, toileting, or ambulation of patients in a health or nursing facility. Adjust position of patients on bed tables, feed patients, record vital statistics or other health information, hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety, and assist patients with daily activities. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information related to the residents. Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates as well as observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all relevant sources. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time. Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas including rooms and bathrooms; and assist Nurses with patient care.
