- Job Duties:
- Guest Services Agents will be responsible for greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests, answering the phones and directing calls appropriately, processing arrivals and checkouts, ensuring logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms, logging guest requests, communicating across departments with radio to relay guest requests and coordinate about room cleanings and maintenance issues, handling cash and credit transactions, keeping and verifying records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, communicating rates, packages, special promotions, and guest programs, and advising housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning. In addition, Guest Services Agents will be responsible for answering guests’ inquiries pertaining to hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation as well as providing information on restaurants, transportation, entertainment, and other local amenities including through text-messaging system. May have to lift and carry up to twenty (20) pounds. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 11:00am – 7:00pm, or 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
