Job Duties:

Manually clean, dry and store peanuts. Shovel peanuts. Sweep up spilled peanuts. Observe the continuous movement of peanuts as they pass through different stages of the cleaning process to ensure steady, uninterrupted operation so that malfunctions can be detected. As part of the production process, dump peanuts into trailers by pressing a button which electronically dumps the peanuts into the wagons. Hook up peanut dryer to trailers. Pull samples. Clean pits. Change tires on trailers and wagons. Hand wash wagons/trailers with a water hose. Clean up peanut spillage and any other post-harvest sanitation needed-general cleaning.

Special Requirements:

No education or experience required. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
