- Job Duties:
- Manual itinerant work hand tree seedling planting to reforest and maintain timberlands. Plant bare-root or containerized tree seedlings using a shovel, hoe dad, dibble bar, hoe, or powered auger. Transport trees in a tree bag. Select optimum planting location to meet spacing, soil, and shade requirements. Tamp soil around tree seedling with foot or planting tool.
