Job Duties:
Culinary Supervisors will be responsible for for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant, communicating duties, responsibilities and work stations, assigned by the chef, to workers engaged in preparing food, assist chef with training workers in food preparation and in service, sanitation and safety procedures, assist the chef and Sous Chef with observing and evaluating workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, supervising and participating in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities, collaborating with supervising staff to plan menus, and assisting the Executive Chef (Outlet Chef de Cuisine) in relaying instructions to the Kitchen Team when the Outlet Chef de Cuisine or Outlet Sous Chef are not in the kitchen. May assist the chef and Sous chef with supervising up to five (5) Line Cooks. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 1:00pm, 10:00am - 5:00pm, or 5:00pm - 12:00am. Shift hours may vary.
