Job Duties:

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Shovel and/or plow snow from walks, driveways and/or parking lots and spread salt in those areas. Perform commercial and residential snow/ice maintenance including winter storm cleanup, trash/debris pickup, and snow/ice removal. Place salt and/or ice melt on icy surfaces as directed by manager. Clean and perform routine maintenance and/or minor repairs on equipment and tools when not in use. Use hand tools and equipment such as ice picks, shovels, and blowers. Clean up and prepare properties for before and after snowstorms. Working under extreme weather conditions
