Job Duties:

Perform property maintenance including winter storm and fall cleanup, trash/debris pickup, and snow/ice removal. Use hand tools and equipment such as ice picks, shovels, and blowers. Spread salt on walkways and other areas. Operate vehicles with plow and/or salt spreading attachments to clear snow/ice from driveways, parking lots, and other surfaces. Installation of new winter foliage, wintergreen plants and trees, tree trimming and removal, fall and winter leaf and debris removal, winter pruning, winterizing plants and trees to protect from freezes, drainage control, mulch installation to protect plants, winterization and draining of sprinkler systems, snow removal, salt application. Operate trucks and loaders with mounted snow plows or pushers, hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required. Clean and perform routine maintenance and/or minor repairs on equipment and tools when not in use. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Normal schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm. Shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break. Work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required depending on weather conditions and needs of the business. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a work week. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $36.62 per hour. The employer will provide daily transportation from housing to and from the main worksite, and among all worksite locations.

Must have or be able to obtain a Class C driver's license upon employment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Applicant must complete an employment application. Required uniform provided at no cost to employee.
