Job Duties:

Workers will process crab, multiple species of finfish, bottom fish and salmon. Work on the hand butcher line will involve use of hand and hand tools to perform routine cutting and trimming. Workers will wash, size, and grade seafood and then load processed seafood onto freezer baskets or cartons for shipping.

Special Requirements:

Lifting 50lbs regularly, working outdoors, working in freezer, pushing, pulling, standing Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required. Two shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am. Employer will provide paid on the job training. Employer is offering up to 20 hours of overtime per week, as needed, but not guaranteed. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage rate or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience. Must be at least 18 years old. A pre-employment criminal background check will be required at the employers expense. A pre-employment drug screening will be required at the employers expense. The employer will provide transportation to and from worksite at no cost to workers. Optional employer-provided housing is available for $20/day based on Alaska State guidelines.
