- Job Duties:
- Clean guest rooms according to established hotel standards and assigned priority. Transport and position housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens. Replace dirty linens and towels with clean items, make beds, and restock bathroom and room amenities. Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, mirrors, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, and floors. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, ledges, baseboards, vents, and décor; clean lamps, light switches, and electronics; vacuum carpets and remove debris from under and behind furniture. Inspect furniture and amenities for damage or missing items and report issues. Remove trash, empty ice buckets, and clean closets, drawers, and door tracks. Realign furniture and set items according to floor plan. Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and air-conditioning units. Spray deodorizer when warranted. Update room status on assignment sheets, return and restock cart at end of shift, empty and clean vacuum. Ensure security of guest room keys and guest belongings. Follow key control procedures. Handle guest complaints or requests, referring to a supervisor when needed. Report damages or maintenance problems with location details. Remain in assigned work area and follow all company cleaning, safety, and security procedures.
Work with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and courtesy. Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest rooms and belongings. Good communicate skills. Apply simple addition and subtraction when needed. Work independently or as part of a team while meeting productivity and cleanliness standards.
