Job Duties:
Seafood item’s including but not limited to steamed crabs, shrimp, crab legs, clams mussels, crawfish. Grilled and fried kitchen items including but not limited to crab cakes, fried shrimp, oysters, clam strips, fish, French fries, hush puppies. Preparation/cook time ranging from 3-12 minutes Line Cook Duties as specified under Onet Code 35-2015: Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods that require only a short preparation time. Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, steaming and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. Food Prep Duties as specified under Onet Code 35-2021 Assist line cook by preparing ingredients for dishes by slicing and dicing vegetables and by making salads and cold food items. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes; clear tables. Weigh or measure ingredients, such as meats and liquids. Prepare fruit and vegetables. Mix ingredients for salads. Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service. No experience/education. See attached addendum
