Job Duties:

Perform manual labor associated with asphalt paving and maintenance projects. Job duties include raking gravel; raking, shoveling, and spreading asphalt by hand; assisting other workers in preparing worksites for paving; cleaning and maintaining work areas; and applying seal coat to asphalt surfaces using hand tools. Operate or assist with operation of skid steers as needed. Load and unload materials, remove debris, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure completion of paving and site preparation tasks. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Special Requirements:

Requires three months of asphalt work experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
