Job Duties:
Provide labor for landscape services which may include any combination of the following: cultivating lawns or gardens, planting, digging, irrigating, mowing, trimming, pruning and fertilizing of growing plants and grasses, mulching, leaf blowing, raking, seeding, sod laying, weeding and opening/filling shallow trenches for irrigation/watering systems. Use hand/power tools and equipment such as edgers, blowers and mowers to landscape and maintain grounds of property. Assist with sprinkler installation and maintenance (use hand shovel to dig trench approximately 6 inches wide and 12 inches deep, after lines are laid). Worker may also spray/spread nonrestricted use fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. A pesticide applicator license is not required for these products. Load/unload/move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; clean and store equipment/tools when not in use.

Special Requirements:
Requires three months of previous landscape experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
