- Job Duties:
- In compliance with company safety program, the Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating various pieces of construction equipment, such as Motor Graders, Reclaimers, Pavers, Rollers, Compactors, Dozers, Excavators, Scrapers, Finish Blade, etc. for road construction projects. Use various pieces of equipment for leveling areas, creating berms, ramps and/or roadways, stripping, excavating and backfilling. Use heavy equipment for stockpiling materials, cutting and spreading fill materials. pushing milling materials, sand and aggregate piles, clearing trees and other debris. Use heavy equipment for restoring pit areas when construction operation is completed. Must be able to work long hours in adverse conditions including heat, wind, rain and noise.
