- On the job training provided. Work under close supervision. Move topsoil; dig holes; plant trees and shrubs; load/unload materials; install landscape materials and irrigation systems; clean-up; pull weeds; spread mulch; may apply fertilizers, and common horticulture products; common maintenance, use and operation/maneuvering of mowing equipment/tools/vehicles; dig holes, rake, plant, lay sod, water, push wheelbarrow with soil/stone; carry, spread and stack mulch/stone; pick up litter.
