Job Duties:

The Dishwasher will operate the industrial dishwasher to wash dishes, cups, coffee cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and other items. Will wash certain items including glassware by hand, as necessary. Other duties include maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen by emptying and cleaning all trash receptacles; cleaning iced tea, coffee, and beverage machines daily; Maintain a clean and organized dish area. Making sure dishes are clean and free of debris. Maintaining the proper chemicals in the dishwasher, rotating the dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources; cleaning dish storage; providing assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed which includes stocking supplies, displaying and retrieving utensils/silverware, plates, dishes, drinkware in service stations or work areas in the kitchen as instructed by the prep cook or other kitchen staff, following sanitation policies at all times; assisting team in receiving and putting away supplies; cleaning spills or broken glassware immediately; and reporting sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party. Must be able to multi-task and plan effectively. Must be hard working, able to work independently, possesses good listening skills, and must be a team player. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, walk a lot and be able to stand for long periods of time. Occasional bending is required. No work experience is required for this position.

Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hours/wk. Must be able to work any 7-hour shift within the time frames of 7am to 11pm any day of the week. Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends and holidays are required. This job requires continuous movement, lifting, pushing, must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player.
