Job Duties:
Responsible for front desk duties at hotel, registration of hotel guests, assign rooms, make reservations, phone answering, greeting guests, coordinate guest services, answer inquiries, process guest payments, give directions, keep check in and check out related records, set out and maintain continental self serve breakfast station in lobby stocked with pre-cooked and ready-to-serve items, such as pre-packaged baked goods, juices, and cereal with milk.

Special Requirements:
The days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business and based on room rentals the prior night but will generally be 5-6 days per week with rotating days off. The business is open 7 days per week, Friday-Thursday (including Saturday and Sunday). Examples of daily work schedules include: 9:00am 5:00pm, 7:00am 3:00pm, 8:00am 4:00pm, 12:00pm 8:00pm, 3:00pm 11:00pm, 4:00pm 12:00am, 11:00pm 7:00am, 12:00am 8:00am, approximately an average of 40 hours per week over the course of expected employment term with some occasional overtime during busy times. Weekend, holiday, and night work will be required. Must be available to work all shifts. In addition to the hourly wage, desk clerks will receive $.25 bonus for every ferry ticket they sell at the desk to hotel customers.
