- Job Duties:
- **RFI Response** The crew laborer manually unloads/loads the following tools/equipment into truck beds: four wheeled hand cart, shovel, rock bar (10lbs), 5 gallon bucket of preservative paste (20 lb), brush and handle for preservative paste, roll of poly paper (5 lbs), hammer, drill and bits and chipper tool (handheld 5lbs). **Original** Assist utility pole maintenance workers by shoveling dirt around the base of utility poles, to allow the pole maintenance inspector to inspect and treat poles as necessary. Refill holes with dirt once inspection/repair is complete. Load/unload equipment; clean and maintain equipment/tools when not in use and ensure proper storage at end of day. Must follow all safety regulations and Davey Resource Group, Inc. safety guidelines, including but not limited to employer-provided personal protective equipment.

- Requires six months of prior outdoor manual work experience Must lift/carry 65 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to walk long distances daily, over occasionally difficult terrain. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
