Job Duties:

The irrigation laborer is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and/or landscaping. Key responsibilities include: Assembling and installing irrigation components, Positioning systems per layout instructions, Operating valves as per schedule, Monitoring for overwatering or underwatering signs, Adjusting sprinkler heads and nozzles as needed, Inspecting for leaks and malfunctions, Performing routine maintenance tasks, Replacing worn components, Reporting major failures and assisting with repairs. Preparing/ cleaning service trucks daily.

Special Requirements:

Requires three months of irrigation experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
