Job Duties:

The HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and/or commercial buildings. Duties include inspecting HVAC systems and components to identify defects, and the need for adjustment or repair; ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards; troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues; replacing or repairing defective components; and performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Install or connect heating or air conditioning equipment and related components. Use a variety of hand and power tools. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, and may require lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
