Job Duties:

Physically demanding duties related to new and re-roofing projects. Tear off / remove existing roofing materials and underlayment using proper methods for removal. Clean roof deck and surrounding structure. Perform minor roof deck repairs and other projects ancillary to roofing project, as needed. Install underlayment and new roofing materials using proper methods for installation. All duties to be performed utilizing proper fall protection and scaffolding.

Special Requirements:

Ability to climb and descend a 40-foot extension type ladder unassisted; the ability to work at heights in excess of 10 feet; ability to repeatedly lift and carry roofing materials daily weighing approximately 75 pounds; ability to cut, hammer, fasten and otherwise work with the roofing materials; ability to work in a variety of physical positions, including stooping, squatting, kneeling and crawling; extensive use of arms and shoulders, gripping and safe use of small and large hand power tools; ability to perform basic math functions and follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules.
