Job Duties:

Maintains a clean restaurant kitchen, wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand, place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in proper kitchen storage areas, keeps dish area free of clutter and organized; sets up dish stations with clean dishes and utensils; maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift, clean or prepare various simple foods for cooking or serving by other kitchen staff such as peeling or cleaning vegetables or removing food items or ingredients from packages, set up banquet tables.

Special Requirements:

The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off. The business is open 7 days a week. Weekend work will be required. Two shifts available: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. Must be available to work both shifts, approximately 35 hours per week with some overtime during busy months. The worksites are located at 1493 Astor Street and 7300 Main Street, Mackinac Island, MI.
