Job Duties:

Welcome patrons, seat them at tables, provide menus and help ensure quality of facilities and service, maintains host stand area, answer incoming phone calls, take reservations, operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages, speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation, assist other restaurant workers by serving food and beverages, or by bussing tables, inspect dining and serving areas for to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.

Special Requirements:

The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off. The business is open 7 days a week. Weekend work will be required. Two shifts available: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. Must be available to work both shifts, approximately 35 hours per week with some overtime during busy months. The worksites are located at 1493 Astor Street and 7300 Main Street, Mackinac Island, MI.
