Job Duties:

Mix cocktails and other drinks, serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws. Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar. Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Collect money for drinks served. Balance cash receipts. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Clean bars, work areas, and tables. Order or requisition liquors and supplies. Plan bar menus. Take customer orders. Serve food or beverages.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to lift 25 pounds Must be at least 18 years old. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business but will generally be 6 days per week with rotating days off. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime. The business is open 7 days per week and weekend and holiday work is required.
