Job Duties:

Housekeeper/Housemen will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, offices, and indoor common areas at the employer’s property, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, and washing windows. Specific duties include the following: Open Clubhouse and prepare coffee every morning for member consumption; vacuum and clean all carpeted and non-carpeted floors daily (including Clubhouse, basement, kitchen, office, and Halfway Ho! Cart); polish furniture and brass stair railings; remove trash and recycle in Clubhouse, restrooms, and basement storage area daily; clean Clubhouse windows daily; clean and stock all bathrooms in Clubhouse, Locker Rooms and course bathroom adjacent to Clubhouse daily; clean and stock Pro Shop bathroom weekly; remove rubbish, vacuum and clean the Club offices; dust all furniture, ceiling, light fixtures, and corners; set up and stock Halfway Ho! Cart (snack bar) daily; launder all kitchen and locker room towels and restaurant linen and kitchen/Steward uniform daily and ensure sufficient supplies on hand for daily business; clean and store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware, and glassware; clean and organize all Housekeeping and Dry Goods supplies; clean and setup Terrace and North Lawn area daily as needed; assist the Flower Committee in setting up and breaking down tables as needed; alert Manager of all maintenance related issues; clean and maintain stock in bathrooms on the golf course. This is a rotational position where workers rotate through different shifts performing different combinations of the duties outlined above. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am – 12:00pm, 7:00am – 2:00pm, or 12:00pm – 7:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
