***RFI Response*** In response to the RFI, we would like to confirm that the specific tasks of the Groundskeeper position related to "common areas of the resort" can be clarified as follows: The common areas of the resort include lawns, paths, gardens, sidewalks, deck areas, and patio areas. The tasks of the Groundskeeper position related to the above mentioned common areas of the resort include: lawn care (mowing, edging watering fertilizing and seeding) plant care (planting flowers, shrubs, trees; pruning, trimming, mulching weeding and seasonal cleanup, cleaning up fallen twigs, leaves, branches), debris removal (picking up trash, leaves, from grounds, paths, and around sidewalks, deck areas, and patio areas, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning out firepits and splitting wood for the guests). The tools used to complete the above tasks are weed trimmer or string trimmer, lawn mower, rakes, shovels, chainsaws, power pruners, backpack blowers, gloves and safety gear, hand shears and axes for splitting firewood for the guests. In addition, in response to the RFI, we would like to confirm that the specific tasks of the Groundskeeper position related to "putting in and taking out boat docks." can be clarified as follows: In the springtime, the Groundskeepers help with setting up the boat docks as the Petitioner has floating boat docks. They take them off the shoreline in the early spring by pushing them out on the water in the bay by boat and securing the floating boat dock sections to the posts set up in the lake. In the fall, the Groundskeepers unsecure the floating boat docks from the posts in the lake and float them over to the shoreline for winter storage. They keep the sections together and fasten them to stay in shallow water by the shoreline for the winter. The lifting and moving of the boat docks is completed using winches, jacks, or wheel kits to lift and maneuver the heavy sections. ***Original F.a.2*** Groundskeepers will be responsible for maintaining property and golf course grounds using hand and power tools and equipment. Will perform any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation. Groundskeepers will also be responsible for other grounds and landscaping maintenance and improvements as needed, which include putting in and taking out boat docks at the beginning and end of the season, raking the beach, emptying the beach garbage cans into the dumpster, maintaining all of the common ground areas of the resort, watering flowers and shrubs, planting shrubs, weeding flower boxes and flower beds, and splitting firewood for the guests. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
