- Job Duties:
- Porter will be responsible for supporting Housekeepers by assuring all rooms and carts are properly stocked as well as assist in the cleaning and maintaining of all rooms, suites, linen, laundry and public areas according to department procedures including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house at DNC Parks & Resorts at Kalaloch’s property. Porter will make sure that Housekeepers have all tools and supplies that are necessary to ensure rooms are properly cleaned, they will also restock and supply the rooms with various items such as coffee and teas, towels, and various bathroom items for guests. Empty wastebaskets and waste transport trash to disposal area. Reports maintenance repair problems to supervisor and ensures all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, carry, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 5:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 8:00pm, and 5:00pm - 12:00am. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
