- Job Duties:
- Landscapers will be responsible for maintaining golf course and landscaping around the course, clubhouse and other club facilities, including parking lots, using hand and power tools and equipment, watering, fertilizing, planting and maintaining ornamental shrubs and trees, trimming and feeding shrubs and trees; removing cuttings, maintaining landscape beds around clubhouse and club grounds, raking and blowing leaves, mowing greens and fairways by operating walk-behind turf equipment, preparing and laying sod, preparing soil plant beds, establishing plantings by seed or transplants, maintaining annual and perennial flowers in aesthetic arrangements, raking bunkers, loading and unloading materials (topsoil, grass seed, mulch, landscaping sand, fertilizer, sand, gravel, pavers or cobblestones, sod, water coolers, wood, flower pots, etc.) and equipment (small mowers, power equipment, backpack blowers, hoses, etc.), repairing and maintaining driving range tees, digging holes and trenches to maintain or construct irrigation and drainage lines, and emptying garbage cans. Landscapers are frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00AM - 2:00PM and 7:00AM – 3:00PM. Shift hours may vary.
