Job Duties:

Bellpersons will be responsible for greeting incoming guests, handling baggage and escorting them to their rooms. Bellpersons will also be responsible for transferring luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, or transportation areas, by hand or using baggage carts, supplying guests with amenities on property such as bicycles. Bellpersons will be responsible for the cleaning of the pool area, furniture organization, setting up and breaking down beach furniture, and may power wash some areas. Bellpersons will assist with emptying trash bins on property grounds as needed. Bellpersons will also assist with delivery of items per guest requests (including housekeeping amenities, such as toothbrushes/toothpaste, etc.). They may also assist recreation attendants with duties such as setting up and taking down beach umbrellas and washing, drying, folding and replenishing of beach towels. Bellpersons will need to transport guests and/or employees when needed, which includes transporting employees from their residences to the resort on occasion and/or providing transportation for employees to return to their residences after their shifts. Bellpersons will need to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may need to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30pm – 8:30pm, or 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
