Job Duties:

A Maintenance Crew Member works alongside other Team Members to provide a variety of lawn care and lawn maintenance to the commercial and residential clients. This position is guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, April-November. Duties and responsibilities include: trimming shrubs and lower branches of trees; pulling weeds and removing dead plants; bagging up leaves, lawn clippings, and other debris; using a back blower to perform general clean-up; mowing turf using various mowers; edging grass using a weed-eater along curbs and walkways; watering all plants, trees and flowers; planting new flowers, shrubs and trees; installing mulch or stones around plants and landscape beds; cutting back ornamental grasses and perennials; loading and unloading equipment; and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

Ability to lift upwards to 50 lbs.; grip and squeeze repeatedly to utilize hand saw, pruners, etc.; walk 2-10 miles per day; stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods; work outdoors in all weather conditions; push and/or pull various tools, products or items; carry 30 lb. backpack blower on back.
