- Job Duties:
- As Heavy Truck Drivers, workers may drive a semi-truck or dump truck, with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001pounds or more. Workers will be required to load and discharge construction materials such as wet batch concrete, hot mix asphalt, dirt, rock, sand, and demo debris to and from construction sites using a hydraulic lift system. Workers will be responsible for operating vehicles or mechanized equipment in a safe and efficient manner, as well as cleaning, inspecting, and performing basic maintenance. Workers will communicate with supervisors and other workers to coordinate the delivery and pickup of materials.
