Job Duties:

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, lawn aerating, raking, sprinkler system installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Spring/Fall clean-ups, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, weeding, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and pruning plants from the ground level using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, hand shears, wheelbarrows, and pitch forks. May drive crew vehicle. No driver’s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver’s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites, as needed.

Special Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to perform manual, physical labor outside during all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.). Weekend and overtime required as necessary. Pre-employment background check required of foreign and domestic workers, at no cost to the worker.
