Job Description

Full Time:
Yes
Number of Workers Requested:
25
Job Duties:
RFI Most mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled and disassembled in hours with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. When heavy lifting is required, rides would have built in hydraulics for raising and lowering platforms, etc., so that additional equipment is not required. Once ride is positioned by a supervisor, workers would unload by hand, the various parts of the ride that must be assembled. Platforms and centerpieces would be positioned using the built-in hydraulic lifts and winches. Support bars and passenger conveyances would be positioned, and attached as per manufacturer instructions. Funnel Cakes: Gold Medal Products sells the mix that is used. Following instructions printed on the mix container, pour the mix plus appropriate liquid into the commercial batter blender. Once the batter has been blended, a portion is scooped into a dispenser bottle. Worker would slowly pour batter from dispenser bottle into the fryer so that strings of batter would cling together, forming a funnel cake. When one side of the funnel cake is brown, the worker would use a large slotted spoon to flip the half cooked funnel cake. When the funnel cake is fully cooked the worker would use the same large, slotted spoon to pick the funnel cake from the fryer, hold it for a few seconds to drain, and place into a chafing dish under heat lamp to allow the excess grease to drain while keeping the funnel cake at a proper serving temperature. After customer places order, worker would use tongs to place funnel cake into serving boat and add selected topping such as sugar, shipped cream, compote, chocolate sauce and/or Nutella ®, to the funnel cake and then provide the product to the customer. Fountain Soda. These workers would NOT be serving any alcoholic beverages. For a fountain drink, the worker would take the proper size cup in their hand, use an ice scoop to scoop ice into the cup (unless the patron ordered no ice), place the cup under the nozzle, press the cup against the lever and fill the cup. Take a lid from the lid supply and secure this on the top of the cup. From time to time, the worker would need to restock the cups, lids and ice from the appropriate storage area. If the machine runs out of syrup, the worker would need to locate in the storage area the proper flavor of prepackaged syrup, disconnect the empty syrup container, connect the full syrup container, and then discard the empty container. Lemonade, On a cutting board, the lemons would be cut in half. See through plastic cups and lids would be brought from storage. A food service quality bin of ice with ice scoop would be placed into the work area. Workers serving lemonade would stand at the front counter, communicating with the customer. After taking the order, would scoop ice into a cup, pick up (with gloved hand), and squeeze Lemon Juice into the cup, using a Squeezer. Pre-mixed sugar water would be poured into the cup, and then the product would be served with lid and straw to the patron after payment.
