Job Duties:
WILL TRAIN TO PREPARE, SEASON, AND COOK SOUPS, SAUCES, MEATS, POULTRY, SEAFOOD, VEGETABLES, DESSERTS AND OTHER FOOD ITEMS IN A YACHT CLUB RESTAURANT. ATTENDS TO THE DETAIL AND PRESENTATION OF EACH ORDER, PLATING PREPARED FOODS AND WORKING WITH SERVERS TO ENSURE THAT ORDERS ARE COMPLETED ACCORDING TO REQUEST AND ON TIME. ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS OF THE WORK AREA AND EQUIPMENT ENSURING THAT THE KITCHEN OPERATION PROCEDURES AND HYGIENE MEET FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. MUST BE ABLE TO STAND FOR 8-10 HOURS AND CARRY 25LBS. SHIFTS REQUIRED TO WORK ARE: 6AM-2PM, 10AM-7PM, 12PM-11PM, AND/OR 2PM-11PM. AT LEAST 40 HOURS PER WEEK, 5 DAYS PER WEEK, DAYS AND SHIFTS MAY VARY. OVERTIME MAY BE AVAILABLE.
