Job Duties:

• Separate, treat, wash, dry and fold linen while maintaining consistent quality standards and departmental procedures • Load and unload washers and dryers according to safe lifting, pushing, pulling procedures and guidelines. • Separate any stained linen that needs to be retreated. • Feed sheets/pillow cases/table cloths/napkins, and other required linen into the automatic ironer/ folder • Feed clean, dry, bath towels into the towel folder. • Perform cleaning and departmental maintenance tasks according to schedules established by the department supervisor or management. • Follow hazmat guidelines for all chemicals. • Perform special cleaning and departmental maintenance tasks assigned by the departmental supervisor and/or management. • Immediately report any accident or equipment failure to supervisor. • Sort and count articles removed from dryers, and fold, wrap, or hang them • Remove items from washers or dry-cleaning machines, or direct other workers to do so.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Capable of standing, bending, and moving for extended periods during shifts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
