Job Duties:

Daily maintenance of sugar mill, including repairing and replacing sugar mill equipment as needed. Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a building in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

Special Requirements:

Random drug screening upon hire (paid for by employer). Work hours and days: From 04/01/2026 to approximately 9/15/2026, the basic work schedule is 40-hours per week; 6:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Thursday; schedule includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. From approximately 9/15/2026 to 1/30/2027, or during harvest/grinding season, the basic work schedule could be anywhere from 8 12 hours per day; up to 7 days per week; overtime paid after 48 hours; schedule includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
