Job Duties:
***RFI Response*** Primary Job Duties: The employee in the position of Helpers-Brickmasons, Blockmasons, and Stonemasons will assist in the preparation, installation, and repair of tile, brick, and stone surfaces. This involves supporting skilled masons in performing foundational and detail-oriented tasks, which include: Mixing and applying mortar to various surfaces. Transporting materials such as bricks, blocks, and stones to and from work areas. Cleaning and preparing surfaces before and after masonry installation. Using tools such as drills, wheelbarrows, also assembling scaffolding Secondary Job Duties (Winter Landscape, Debris Removal, and Clean-Up): During the winter season, the employee will also assist in site clean-up, which includes: Removing landscape debris from the work area to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Clearing snow or other seasonal debris to prepare sites for masonry projects. Using tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, and other general-purpose landscaping tools as needed to ensure the area remains clean and safe. ***Original F.a.2*** THE EMPLOYEES WILL ASSIST THE BRICK MASONS AND STONE MASONS BY MIXING MORTAR, PLASTER , AND GROUT NEED, BY PREPARING THE AREAS AND MATERIALS FOR INSTALLATION OF THE MASONRY, BY TRANSPORTING THE MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE MASONRY, BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE IN THE PREPARATION, INSTALLATION, AND REPAIR OF THE TILE, BRICK AND STONE SURFACES, AND BY CLEANING THE SURFACES, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK SITES AND OTHER AREAS NEEDED WINTER LANDSCAPE, DEBRIS REMOVAL AND CLEAN-UP
